They are very hard to keep in captivity from what I have read, one of the tangs better left in the ocean in most post readings/research, the major reason I have avoided getting one myself. Best of luck with it. def. beautiful tangs for sure.

cl2ysta1, what LFS do you go to? I am always looking for new LFS. I hit all the ones in Toledo this weekend and was very dissapointed with the exception of one, maybe two on a good day? Picked up a nice 4"-5" derasa clam for $40 but either than that I saw nothing that I could not live without.

Gary's tropical fish in maumee has REALLY nice saltwater fish, but not very many corals. L & S aquatics is in sandusky, also has really nice fish, and suprisingly petco also in sandusky. We got the achilles tang at the PEt supplies plus here in findlay. They have a really nice saltwater selection and a decent amount of corals. Some shipments are better than others. Right now they have a lot of LPS, elegance corals, some clams, leathers, mushrooms. they dont seem to have too much in right now though.

did you happen to get to gary's?

there is also a jack's in findlay, but they aren't generally very well priced on much. they have good deals here and there. oh.. and the pet supplies plus also sells green chromis' every day for 3.98

Yeah I stopped in at Garys, was dissapointed with this trip. His prices keep going up and up. I liked trillbys tropicals alot (where I picked up the derasa) and the other one I think is called ocean encounters, nice corals, litt over priced and the place is the size of a coat closet.

didnt get to trillbys tropicals but we went to the other places. That tiny shoebox was REDICULOUS on prices!!!! they wanted like 70 for a naso that was no more than 2 inches.
