i am looking for a 2 x 175w retrofit MH kit. I saw these below, but it is unavailable for 1month. Cannot find it anywhere else. Did a draze search but to no avail...

I want an external ballast where I can put under my tank, and just mount the reflector and bulbs on my canopy and be done.

Does anyone know where I can find on?

this is what I want:

What size tank do you have? i actually have a 2-175w retrofit kit with 2-96w pc's - all ballast in a single box... I had it on my 75g that i recently took down to upgrade to a 180g... let me know if you might be interested...

how do you install this:

is it plug and play? I install the ballast and all cables in the hood, and just plug to my outlet?? :(

plz explain.. to me that external ballast seemed like it was all in a box and real easy to install..

but is that internal ballast same way? I don't need that big box thing on the top pic?

im not really sure how to hook those up - mine came with the ballasts already wired - its just plug and play... here is what mine looks like - this would fit in you canopy probably - my 75g was 48" too - just a little deeper that the 55g...

I would get an electronic ballast, the one you had in a pic above you would need to add a ballast box to house the ballast

Do a google and look around I am also shoping retro kits and want plug and play.
I haven't done busness with "aqua cave but they have some good prices. I am leaning to coral vue electronic ballasts as the can be had for around $102 for 250W or in a kit for $189
