Should have tried the aeration test weeks ago. One hour inside raised test water from pH 7.64 to 7.69 vs tank. One hour outside raised test water pH from 7.64 to 8.14 vs tank. I'd have to call that pretty conclusive evidence! Thanks to Boomer and Billy Beau for making it obvious that I should run this little experiment rather than fighting the dosing issues. I am still probably generating too much CO2 with too many critters and a bit of overfeeding, that can be dealt with too I hope. Going to begin the outside air supply line project right now, will update later. Thanks again!
