Reassuring I got the right type of limestone, let me describe how it looked

Okay I just purchased 220 pounds of a stone gray limestone. I purchased mostly blocks. The stone has fossils of shells and coral skeletons on it. Did I get the right type of limestone?

Sounds just like what I have.
I bought a diamond tipped saw blade for my circular saw and cut it into the shapes I liked.

hmmm okay good! It sold under the name "dove grey veneer lime limestone" Some of the edges were really smooth as though they had been cut. Most were semi-prourouse with fossils though.
