Run VHO's on PC ballasts?

I've got 2 96w PC ballasts and was wondering if I could DIY some VHO endcaps to them and run a single 36" VHO off each one. I realize they'd be slightly under driven but is there any reason this wouldn't work? TIA

yes you can im running 2 75w vho's on 2 96w ballasts, i did a how to on this thread.
