My tank has been running for over 3 months. It completed the cycle almost a month ago. 2 weeks ago I added a full cleaning crew and all inverts seem to be ok.

Last Sunday I got a breeding pair of True Perculas to finally add some fishes to my tank. They looked fine when I got them but they have not eaten ever since. I have tried every food but they don't seem to be interested in it at all. They just hang out around a corner of the tank all day and night.

Today I noticed that both of them but especially the female has some little spots of skin pelling off.

Here's a picture of her.

And here's a picture of him who by the way seems to have a little white something sticking out Today.

PLEASE HELP!!!

from the pictures it looks to me that it might be brook.

Here is a link which tells you how to do a Formulin 3 bath which helps fight it off.

I always give the fish a quick dip in fresh water after a form bath to rise him off. Also make sure that you use tools for this bath that are not going to be reused on dispaly tank...this includes a net.

Better pictures with a flash on may help to provide a better idea of what is going on forsure.

Oh yeah...also.... buy a baby brine shrimp hatching kit....they will forsure eat that...once they are healthy enough....switch the food on them.

Hey, thanks a lot for your response. I found a few pictures of Brook and that seems to be what my Perks have so I am giving them Formalin baths since Yesterday.

Hopefully that will help, thanks again!
