I went home this weekend and was able to spend some time outside training my mule and taking pics of the horses.

Here is the entire herd. Most of our horses are around 2 years old and still growing, hence the lankiness and thinness. They are regularly wormed and grained daily.

This is Jack, he was born with a club foot. Jack had surgery (his deep digital flexor tendon was cut) and now he's as good as new.

Rocky, affectionately called Rockstar. He's the herd boss and is a giant at only 28" tall.

Sunny, the colt I posted pics of a couple of months ago. He's now two months old and is the size of a 6 month old! This colt is built like a tank! The patch on his neck is where we were getting him used to the clippers.

And last but not least, Pride :) This weekend was the first time he was tacked up and he did great. I'm so proud of him!!!

Awesome Chelsey!!!!

I love horses and used to go ride the Ozark Trail about once per month.

Do you find that miniature horses have a better disposition than ponies?

I wish I could bring my corgi out there and let her chase the miniature one around and herd it

Minis do have a better disposition, at least this one. Leighton, I doubt that your corgi would have much luck, this is probably the first time Rocky went any faster than a walk in at least a month. He's incredibly lazy but is very sweet and laid back.

Somehow I didn't think that was the Chadster either...

Chelsey they all look healthy and happy, which is the important part. I wish it wouldn't be so far to drive, as I'd love to live someplace that had some more space so I too could indulge in horses.

They all have such individual personalities, and smart too. The colt looks gorgeous...

Thanks Howard. Yes, they all do have majorly different personalities. With some of them the smart comment might be an exaggeration though
