Just curious as to how often people check their water param's. I was checking mine every week (just added a bunch of corals to a fairly new setup) but I think I am going to cut back to every month since my amm/trites/trates are 0 my pH is 8.2 (and holding steady). My cal and alk need some work but I think a new salt mix will fix that.

Actually when I had my big tank up I tested every other week or when things seemed off. Now that I'm rebuilding the big tank and just have a 125 with a few corals, I watch the corals and fish and test when necessary. I monitor pH with a ac jr, so as long as every thing seems happy and pH is where it's supposed to be, I really don't test at all. It's been over two months...

It seems like weekly, biweekly, and monthly are the preferred.

I like to do it on a monthly basis unless I see a major changement in the tank.

You left out daily.

Yea, I'm like that. Everyday, same time. 9:15pm.
