I started dripping kalk yesterday with a kangaroo 324 pump. I've been having trouble keeping my calcium over 340 and Alk over 9.7.nIt's been dripping for about 12 hours now, and I was curious when I should test to see if it's started working. With that said, is the recommended dosage enough? (1tsp for every gallon mixed.)

I tested this morning and no noticeable difference at this point. I'm not sure if it isn't strong enough or I'm just testing too soon?

Each system is different in terms of how much alk and ca are used depending upon many factors.

I'd keep the mix the same for a week and test each day around the same time of day if you can, see what changes occur over time, the adjust slowly and keep testing.

Too much alk will limit your ca ... and pH fits into the scheme too.

.. be patient, dripping kalk is a great thing IMO it'll really go a long way for stability of pH, alk and ca.
