The lfs I work at has a 125g stand and hood that they are selling for $200 (so I would pay even less). I have always wanted to have a decent sized school of Lyretail Anthias in conjunction with Blue/green Chromis. Other than that I am not sure what other fish I would like to have. Eventually it would start out as a FOWLR but in the future I would like to add some fast growing coral. Any suggestions on reef safe fish that break the norm?

Red Sea Sail Fin Tang... My personal favorite. Also, any thing else that comes from the red sea. :-)
A nice angel, majestic or emperor. A tang of some thought, i personaly think sail fins need a far bigger tank than a 125g. The school of anthias would be great, wouldnt mix anthias with chromis as they are aggresive and anthias a fairly shy. There my list, could add a couple more though.

I would go with a Chevron tang as it is a very quite fish and will fit good with the chromis and anthias.

If you are going to be turning it into a reef stay away from the larger angels.
