Should I connect my ro/di to the hot water line or the cold?

I thought about using it for drinking water. Also, do I need to add anything in before aquarium use such as ro-right?

You can drink RO water, but drinking after the DI has no benefits to human consumption. Thats why alot of RO/DI units have a line where you can get output between the RO and DI unit.
Also, if you hooked up your hot water to your RO/DI, you have to remember that the hot water goes through alot more copper in the heater, possibly having some corrosion buildup in the water as well. Thus making your RO/DI unit have more to filter out, making your cartridge life shorter.
