I got a 60gal cube and still no fish. Right now I only have a pair of harlequin shrimp and a cleaner shrimp. I want to add some fish now and have few questions..

1. I want to have a sixline and a pygmy cherub. Are both of them compatible with each other? What should I add into the tank first?

2. Will both sixline and pygmy cherub be ok with my harlequin and cleaner shrimp?

Thanks!!

You may find that the Angel is not so good for a reef tank, they frequently like to nibble their tank mates. The 6 line should be okay with the Angel, I would not let the wrasse get an established territory though, I would introduce them at the same time or the wrasse later after the Angel has found it's niche. The Angel is one of the more assertive types, but the wrasse has more self confidence than most fish it's size :)

maybe i should skip the sixline. I heard they might attack the shrimp and I'm planning to add few more small shrimps to my tank. By the way, pygmy cherub won't harm any shrimp right?

So it sound like to be a "Cherub's Palace"

Honestly, I would go with the 6 line and drop the Angel. It is more likely that you will have trouble with the Angel. The 6 line will not bother your shrimp and makes a very good reef tank addition. You're rolling the dice with the Angel though....

I would say Yes to the 6-line. I've had them before with all types of shrimp and never had a prob. I've even had them in with baby Sexy Shrimp an never had a prob. It all depends on the personality of the fish though. I would get a small one and take your chances, but i don't believe you'll have a prob. Good Luck ! ! !

ah, but i kinda like the way angel swim. I think they have great personalities. The six line is a bit too active.

If the charming personality is enough to offset the potential trouble then go ahead. I would hate to see you make a decision you later regretted though.

Centropyge angels love to pester meaty LPS corals. Open brain type corals are usually their first targets. It would be a bad moving adding one to that tank IMO.

Your tank is really nice. I wouldn't take a chance with the angel with all those nice corals. I love six lines. But if you are going to get other fish, I would add him last.

look like i should forget about the cherub...so any advice for a great personalities fish that swim around to the open water and sometimes move through the caves? but not too active though..

I have a C. argi angel in a 36 gallon LPS & softie reef. In over 6 months, its never bothered any coral ( And I have various brain corals, angel bait!).
Cherubs are probably the best Centropyge for reef tanks.
On the down side, both choices are known bullies to fish added after them. There are numerous accounts here of six-lines being absolute terrors.

All comments my own opinions & experience. Caveat Emptor!

I agree about the Flame Angel not being a good choice foe your tank. Flames can be coral pickers in the best of conditions but in your scenario, there's not much room for him to swim around freely and he might just pick at your nice corals out of boredom.

I'd recommend a Tomato or Percula Clown or a Goby for a Nano like yours.

BTW,
Centropyge do best in a slightly older tank with some algae growth. They are grazers.
