I was just curious what everyone thought about cleaner clams. I was browsing on-line and saw them. I know they aren't supper decorative, but I still think they could be cool.

I also couldn't find alot of information about these. Does anyone know what kind of lighting requirements they have? How hardy are they (will it survive shipping)?
Thanks tons

Pretty sure their lighting requirement is immaterial. They filter feed. I've had a couple of these guys sneek into my tank on live rock. They move about on their own in the sand by opening and closing. I think they are hard to keep alive though without supplemental feedings of phytoplankton, and even then their survivability in an aquarium is unlikely for long periods of time.
