I was told by the guy at LFS that the Watanabe Angelfish is reef safe. Anyone have experience with them? I am looking to add one to my mixed reef 210G that is mainly SPS. I found a couple things online saying yes they are, but as you know they say that about alot of fish that are not reef safe. Any Help would be great. Thanks

They will almost definitely be. They are mid water planktivores. I will say they are absolutely, because some once had a genicanthus that ate corals, but that is the ridiculous exception, rather than the rule.

Mine is...but at my LFS they put a Bellus in their showtank and it was eating their 300$ elegance and a huge brain they had!!

Well SPS are for sure safe. I have one with my sps corals with no issues at all. Brain corals are more susceptible to having problems with reef safe angels.
