I saw a Schuran JetSkim skimmer a few weeks back at a local reef shop and man was it pulling some nasty skimmate! I *think* it was a jetskim 200. The reef shop manager (or was it owner?) said that the Schuran skimmer was by far the best skimmer he has tried on their display tank and his own personal home tank. I think I'm bought on Schuran CA reactors and skimmers after I have heard people's reviews.

Anyways...
Do you think their calculations are right for their skimming capacities? The JS 120 claims to handle 150 gallons, the JS 150 claims to handle 260 gallons, and the JS 200 320 gallons.

I want to setup a 67 gallon high-stocked SPS system with refugium, which model should I go for?

I would think the 120 would be more than enough for your system, and I would get that over the jetskim 100 as it comes with the pump and is a little larger. I have heard good things about these skimmers as well.

That's good I was kinda hoping the 120 would be large enough, I know the 100 wouldn't have been large enough but I wasn't too sure on the 120.

I actually just bought a 150 model for my 210 and it is working really well. I am surprised at the performance and size of this skimmer. I've never used any super high end skimmers before like H&S or Deltec but compared to the ones i've used before this one is the best. Here is the thread i posted a few weeks ago.

I've only used one model of this skimmer so it's hard to scale the performance, but if i were to guess i'd say 120.
