Rubble in canister?

I have an old Hot Magnum 250 HOB canister filter. Could I run this with rubble LR as a filtration system for QT? Just a crazy idea I now!

I don't see why not, well unless you want to put the LR in the canister, then I'd say no. You want to put normal carbon and such in and leave the lr in the bottom of the tank.

Yes you can run rubble for filtration, just make sure to clean it our regularily so you dont get detritus trapped in side.
