Bare bottom question

Ok since Bare Bottom tanks are pretty unsightly...what do people put in to make it look.....normal?

bb tanks look great. I do nothing and mine looks normal to me.

Well, despite your rather inflammatory statement, i'd say they put things like:

Large populations of fish and corals.

But who knows, maybe I'm way off.

Bare bottom tanks look fine. In fact IMO they look better than using 1-2 inch of substrate... Without starting yet anohter DSB vs BB debate....going bare bottom will not be unsightly..IMO
