just wondering if you prefer a white looking tank or more of a blue looking tank? i'm asking because i thought i liked a white looking tank. i had 4x110w vho setup on my 55 until a few days ago... and it looked pretty white but my corals really glowed. i then upgraded to 2x175w MH 10k ushio and 2x110w actinic vhos. damn it sure is white... but my corals aren't glowing now at all. i'm pretty disappointed. just thought i'd share and see what everyone else likes, peace :)

I ran a 175 watt MH on my 40 for a year and thought it looked great untill I added 2 30 watt daylights . It looks much brighter and I think the colors stand out more now . If I turn off the florecents it looks real dingy being so blue .

I like the whiter tank because the if the sand is clean it makes the whole tank look so nice!

I prefer a crisp white to light blueish. However, my eyes have become accustomed to Radiums so that 6500s look yellow and the 12000K look white to my eyes. But then the wife thinks I am color blind. :) The 400-watt radiums with 250-watt 6500 give me a nice white light... i think
