I feed mine about 1\4 of a silver side every two weeks and also phytoplankton every other day. Mine was growing outa control and doing great untill it got stung by a majano anemone..... stupid pests

Any feeding tips? Do they need a feeding hat or will they open up pretty quick when food is sitting on them? Or do you feed them at night?

I just sit the food on them and watch...they take it pretty quickly....I feed mine when the lights are on...it doesn't seem to mind ....I have been giving mine pieces of krill, squid, table shrimp and phytofeast, which I dose in the tank .....

I don't do any direct feedings. I dose Reef Chili to the tank and use Rod's food to feed the fish. I will try giving it a little bit of silver side tonight. I will be feeding the RBTA toight anyway.

Yes they can be fed but not required.
