I am wondering if anybody knows of any free-lance Visual Basic/Microsoft Access database programmers around.
We have an application at work that we are looking at getting re-written in something a little more current than what was around when Win3.1 was popular.
The project involves interfacing with two serial port devices(truck scales) and two separate printers. Several data entry and report generation screens will need to be created for the front end.
We have a complete working copy of the program for reference, so a complete written set of requirements does not really exist. So someone that could travel to our location would be preferred. We are near Jackson, OH. For you Mapquester's - 3675 Dixon Run Road Thurman, OH 45685.
At this point, I am looking for anybody that would be interested in checking it out and giving some sort of quote or estimate.
Any ideas or volunteers?
