turboflotor 1000

This may seem like a random question, but...

I just got a turboflotor 1000 stand alone. You can drive it with a rio 2100, but you have to add a needle wheel. I can't figure out how to do it. The instruction manual says nothiing. If anyone has the turboflotor 1000 and happens to know how to do it, please let me know.

the needle wheel goes into my pump, not the skimmer. I'd do a google search for needle wheel modification to the pump you have.

The regular impeller snaps off and the needlewheel glues on in its place.

Man, I tugged all day on that impellar and it would not come off. I was afraid i was going to break it. As it was I put a nice bend into it and then just stopped. I will try to post some pics if I still can't get it off.
