Hi. I have been treating my 500 litre reef tank with Exodin for the last 5 days, following the instructions to the letter.....
However, I have stopped the treatment today as all of my LPS corals are showing minimal extension and generally looking a bit unhappy. I also have a couple of very sick looking fishies which I have removed from the tank and put in a hospital tank. These fishies weren't affected by whitespot though.
Anyone else had this problem? I was assured by my LFS that Exodin was completely reef/invertebrate safe.
Any suggestions please? I have done a 20% water change today already and am intending to do another 20% tomorrow and again on Sunday.
All of the water parameters that I can test for (ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, phosphate, calcium, calcium hardness, PH, magnesium) are showing minimal changes following the treatment, so the finger does point to the Exodin?
Help me please - I don't want to lose the will to live!
