Hi Guys,

I have been to 4 stores today. Not one of them has any Astrea snails in stock. I just want about 15-20 of them.

By any chance do one of you guys know where they have them in stock in Miami Dade County?

Thanks in advance,

id be really surprised if they didnt have that many at exotic on bird rd... maybe they were just too lazy to look for you... they are all throughout their liverock tank... i say go back in and ask them to go digging around...

Better have a screen in your sump cause if just one of those ^!%@#^@!#^ things make it to your pump get ready to buy a new pump.

Just speaking from past experience....

But then again some people like to live life on the edge

the choice is yours-

That sucks that no one in Miami Dade has Astreas....after all they come from the next county south of there....

Reef Life just got 1000 Astreas in yesterday, they also have true Nassarius, giant Nassarius, Trochus, giant Turbos and some golf ball sized Nerites.

I was looking for the snails too on the live rock. But I couldnt find any.
But they did tell me that they should get a new shipment this friday.

Hmmm thanks for the info. Speckled. I might just visit Reef life tomorrow or friday.

Haha Scratch wel that never happened to me as yet and hopefully never will. I will be sure to put a screen.

I had some unexplained microbubbles a few months back and after taking the pump apart, out came about 6 snail shells, a screen is highly recommended.....

I'm pretty sure I saw Astreas at House of Fins in US1. Give them a call, cuz they just got a livestock shipment in.

Thanks for all the help guys :)

I bought 30 Astrea Snails at Reef Life.

Today was the 1st time I visted Reef Life. I really liked the store a lot they got a nice setup and everything is very clean and nice.
They are also very stocked. They got some nice fish in stock.
Will definitely revisit Reef Life very soon. Highly recommend to anyone.

Went also to Big Al's and Fish Collection.
Didnt really have anything that I was looking for in stock.
But good stores none the less. All the fish look healthy.

yea i dropped by house of fins and atlantis aquariums (both like 1 block apart on US1) because i was in the area last night.

not super impressed with anything in either store, but they had thousands of astreas... i thought of you...

US1 and like 141st... so go south on 826 until it ends at US1 and continue until you see them on your left... not too far past The Falls (the mall)
