John (jjb81speed) dropped this off last night. 6' x 2' x 14" built custom for my 180.........This thing is awsome.........built like a tank, but very lightweight. I'm going to hang it from the ceiling using yoyo's so I have easy access to my tank. And mind you, that's powdercoating on that baby....................no cheap spray paint here!!! The two pendants are Lumenarcs Mini's just to show the size comparison.

So if you're looking for an awsome custom made stand or canopy, give John a hollar. First class workmanship & even better prices!!!

Thanks Again John!!!!!!!!

Awesome Job with that John! I fabricate also part-time. Mostly building race cars and roll cages. If I didn't do my own welding and fabbing, I would go to him! Great work!

Very curious if its aluminum or steel.

No, it's steel, but a really thin gauge..............I'm thinking 16..........I'm hoping John will chime in & give all the technical details................It doesn't have to hold up a fort, so I told him make it light as possible. It's strong as an ox though.....& I like the fact that there's the option to add a 3rd light in the center if I'd like

I got a PM last night saying "Your light rack is on your porch...........sorry I couldn't stop in......got lot's of errands to run".................I was like a kid at Xmas running for the door...

Haven't done one before, but if you show me exactely what you want with measurements, I can build it. As long as its not made out of aluminum. My tig welder broke.

But I have a nice bender, and my trusty mig welder to get the job done.

Rockindacheeks,

I build all types of race cars from drift cars, to SCCA road race cars, drag cars, ect.

Here is a Mazda Miata Roll bar I built about a year ago.

I dont do this kind of work full time. This is a part-time thing for me, and also another hobby of mine.

Really nice, excellent work!

On a 6 ft, will two Lumenarcs be enough? Will the spread be fairly even? My cannopy is 1 x 12, so mounting would be about 11" above water level.

I have 3 ROIII 250wHQI and would love to scale down to 2 if the Lumenarcs would do it. (and save 33% on my MH lighting bill).

The light rack is made to be hung from the ceiling w/ "yoyo's" allowing me to raise & lower it as need be.....

I'm PLANNING on running two 400 Helios or Radiums on this setup. If it doesn't work, I'll probably add a 250 HQI to the middle of the rack (on a lumenarc also)
