Tunze Photocell...who has them?

Like the title says: Who is using the photocell? Do you see any added benefit for having this? I ordered one and I wanted to hear other people's opinions on this product.

I ahve one and all it does is make the pumps run at lower power when its dark... at least thats the way i understand

I use mine for the moonlight only. I don't turn my flow down at nite.

i like my 6100 to turn down at night

I have one on my wave box to turn it off at night

I have one and it makes for a gentle flow at night when the lights are off.

Many corals feed at night, so why would you want to turn down your flow?
