I have been keeping an eye on this green Haddoni for the past four weeks at my lfs and today I came to check it out. I noticed it bleached and lost all of its pigment and now it looks brownish. I still had to take it though. Nonetheless, its beautiful and hopefully in about a month or two it will color up.

My Haddoni is already starting to burry its food under a rock in the sand. I checked under it and I can see its foot making progress in the sand bed.

He's doing great. His foot is fully attached and will probably get her to eat today.

Zestay, I have no idea what that spec was. Maybe the camera? Its not their in person.

Good luck!

The shots look great, I hope we see some new shots in a few months with some color :)

Color change: nems will often times expell their zooxanthellae when stressed. The zoox. is a symbiotic algae that helps nourish the nem. The zoox. can also die off if the nem doesn't get the appropriate lighting. Unfortunately a lot of nems you see at the LFS's are bleached or close to it due to the stress of collection, shipping, and conditions at the store.

Luckily, if one is not too far gone, proper feedings, lighting, and water conditions can encourage the zoox. to repopulate.
