My 75 Gallon has been running almost a month now. The sump I did myself, some of the slicone is turning a lime green color and other parts are not changing color at all? Why does it do this and why is only some parts affected. I was thinking maybe the amount of time it had to cure. The parts that are not turning colors were in there for months before I added water. The part that is changing colors is a change I made and had let it cure less than a week. Could this be why?

It sounds like it is not holding the seal and is going to let loose. Jst kidding. Some silicones do that, keep your eye on it.

I have seen this also, It doesn't look pretty but it doesn't affect your bond, i wouldn't worry, just hope it's not too visible.

its just in the sump, so its not visable unless I open up the stand. I was just curious about why it does that.
