Does Everyone Making Tanks Use Color Backgrounds

Is everyone getting colored sheets for the back of there acrylic tanks and overflows or just using paints.I have some good pricing on acrylic CLEAR sheets but the colored stuff is way exspensive.

keep shopping around, 1/2" colors (at least black & many blues) are not *that* much more than clear.

I posted on your other thread a price of $310 for colored Plexiglas GM and it was only that high because it did have to be shipped from another store. The list price when in stock was $225. So, you can find it for a decent price. That was a GE Polymershapes location by the way, I don't know, maybe you have one of those near you?

I just use spraypaint. That acrylic sheet seems pretty expensive; is there a reason why you'd prefer it over paint?
