We have tried to stop in several times and he was never open. As far as I can tell there doesn't seem to be a set hours of operation.

I dont think he's a morning person. I know he has alot of maintenice acounts so that could be partly why.

bigsittingrock
03/09/2007, 12:12 AM
Just put your tank next to his and you should have more then enough light for the both of yours. lol. Just let me know when you want some rics.

Butchdawg14
03/09/2007, 12:21 AM
lol nice profit is nice.....sometime you just have to do it.....people would buy them......so they dont risk the shipping and also the shipping charges.....that person would be me...

bigsittingrock
03/09/2007, 12:24 AM

Wanna buy a sump for your 6gallon? That way you can put a skimmer in there. And then you can get a uv light and a calicum reactor and an auto top off and a chiller? lol

Butchdawg14
03/09/2007, 12:40 AM
lol lol lol lol do you have all of that.....

bigsittingrock
03/09/2007, 12:46 AM
No I dont have that big of sump. and I dont need a chiller or a calciam reactor. I think I need spelling lessons though. RC needs to add a spell check button.

Butchdawg14

lol lol i see....i knew you were missing around with me, but i thought you really had all that......

i trying to figure out a CHEAP cost effective ATO and i went to home depot for some plumbing and i got a whole store tour because the guy i asked had no idea what he was talking about.....

but the point of that story is that im going cheap but EFFECTIVE!!! im pretty good with my money.....MOST of the time so i think i might be able to pull this profit thing off......but we will see right??

as long a you stick with your 6 gallon you will save a bundle on so many things that a bigger tank takes. Food, additives, water, fish, coral and endless equipment. So it could be quite possible. Be sure to fill your space wisely. If your tank is full of xiana, you might not get much profit. But if you are able to grow something relitivley uniqe and fast growing you would have a better chance. So choose wisley.

I wish I had the money and the know how to open an LFS in the north metro area!! I keep seeing empty retail space that just begs for an LFS up here!

Although, having to drive to either south Denver or Greeley does have a way of keeping the spending down :D

Here's the deal. Chad used to be partners with Ki at Great Barrier Reef. When Ki bought him out Chad retained the name. His new store is designed around the tanks his company builds (they are beautiful). He has 10-15 tanks for fish/inverts and 1 big tank for corals. He is planning on adding a second tank soon for more corals. The shop is very nice and is a great addition for us reefers in the Denver area. What's is even better is if you mention that you are a member of D.A.R.C you get a 10% discount on all livestock (thanks Chad). The phone # is 303 210 8867. The hours are 3-7 on Weekdays for now. His wife just had surgery and when she recovers the hours will be more traditional.
