^^^ Thought that that would get your attention :D ^^^
is anyone, or does anyone on here know a Biomedical engineer?
sounds like a sweet job... making fake hearts, lives, kidnys, and prostates! and the occasional limb or two.
plus it is biologically focused. therefore, i like it. and Sluh, U-I, and Marquette all offer solid programs for it.
just a thought. i may acctually go to college, although chad has offered me some sweet deals on a life long plan to operate at GWA :D i may have to pass that up...

Dr.~
That's dating yourself and Trottie would have to goggle "Lee Majors & Lindsey" to figure out your reference. Funny though

I had pondered the idea. How good are you at math? You'd be taking LOTS of it. It seems like a pretty cool career to me.

That may have been hard to grasp idea back inthe 70's, but it has indeed arrived. THe Marine girl has a bionic arm. It's not super strong or any other silly stuff, but does function and is completely mechanical.
It feeds off of nerve impulses and I believe the wires run into her chest someplace. Not sure of the nerves they hook to... I believe the company is in Chicago. Amazing stuff...

I think that would be an awesome field to go into. The job market will only increase as more technology becomes available.
