just finished setting my 29 gallon back up after making an external overflow. I am amazed that it works! I drilled about a dozen holes with my dremel and a diamond bit. took it mostly at a speed of 4 and lots of water to keep it all cool. fashioned a box out of 3/32" glass and caulked it down. did a water test and was happy to see only one little leak that I caulked the crap out of. did another test a day later and it works. filled it and put everything in tonight and have watched it like a hawk for the last two hours. wife is getting a little upset, but she just doesn't understand. I would post pics but I did kind of a sloppy job with all the seams.

Kewl. Shouldn't you have used silicon instead of caulk?

I did use silicon I. just how I described the action of gluing the glass together I guess.
