How Do You Use Edpm Weatherstriping ???

I AM GETTING READY TO BUILD NEW SUMP I WANT TO USE EDPM WEATHER STRIPPING FOR THE BAFFLES SO THEY ARE REMOVABLE.. HOW DO YOU DO THIS??? WHICH EDPM WEATHER STRIPPING DO YOU BUY? PLEASE HELP

I did the same thing with my baffles. Picked out the cheapest edpm stripping they had at HD. Pealed the back and stuck it on the both sides of the eggcrate and all is good.

did you use it with glass or plastic baffles yet??? another person in another forum said it didn't work

I just did this myself. I originally had 3 acrylic partitions but had to remove two a couple of years ago to fit a larger skimmer. Last weekend I made two acrylic baffles using the EDPM and it works perfectly for me. This was in a 50g sump on a 180g tank.

I am really thrilled with my results. I would recommend this to anyone who needs to add baffles to a sump in operation.

WHAT BRAND OF EPDM DID YOU USE?? WAS IT THE D STYLE OR THE ONE WITH LOTS OF RIDGES?? HOW THICK DID YOU MAKE THE BAFFLES??? WHERE DID YOU BUY THE EPDM AT???

the one with the ridges. and I bought it at Home Depot along with the acylic. You make the baffles a 1/4" shorter
