Reno 911: Who Else Enjoys This Show?

I was given Season One and Three of Reno 911 on DVD, and I have to say after watching a few episodes, it's one of the funniest shows I've ever seen. I understand that not everyone will like this kind of humor, but the writing and acting are terrific. Am I alone out here in the wilderness (as usual) or do other Loungers appreciate the humor in the show?

Good show too! I have all the seasons on DVD but don't have cable so I can't watch to new episodes. Terry is my favorite character even though he's only in a few shows and Lt. Dangle is #2.

That show is hilarious. I've been a fan from day 1 and can't wait for the movie!

Almost the entire cast is from a show that some of you might recall called The State. It might have been on MTV but I don't remember.

I was in Miami last week and saw a cop with the short shorts on - all 4 of us in the group noticed him and referenced the show.

OH yeah Reno is HILARIOUS!!! I watched the marathon they had on this past weekend on Comedy Central. One of the first ones I saw was of the scavenger hunt the department had for perfs. I love that show.

Oh and how about the halloween episode where the guy lights a bag on fire filled with POOP and puts it on the guys doorstep!

it's not my kind of humor but gary loves it. one of his brothers comes over to watch. i usually stay busy with other stuff or just go watch something else in the other room. i am so boring.

i find it rather dull and the acting is second class at best. THe show is a drag at times and so repetitive and easy to predict. Maybe if the acting was bit better i'd watch it

Well it took me a few minutes to figure out it was comedy, and I did laugh... I've checked it out a few times, but never sat through a whole episode of it... I did however catch a glimpse of the preview for the upcoming movie... OMGosh, I reallly want to see that when it comes out on DVD tooo Shannna... Got a question though, w/o me watching it on a regular basis, will I get "lost" in the movie???

This show is unscripted. It's all improv, so you can't fault them on acting skills.

The out-takes on the DVD season compilations are many times funnier than the actual show. The actors flow with the scenes and eventually crack each other up with their ridiculous ramblings. "Terry" the male skater/prostitute is one of the funniest improv guys of all, and the other cast members can rarely keep a straight face for long.

"Are you high, Terry? What are you on?"

"Skittles!"

I love it, the first time I saw it I thought it was "Cops". I was over at a friend's house and I remember thinking, "man these cops sure are unprofessional". then I see the comedy central logo, lol.
