I need some. You know, the kind with the small top, they are used for water dispensers in offices, etc.

Can I buy them from a store or does anyone have extra? I looked at Publix but they wanted like $14 for them. That seems expensive to me and was wondering if I could get them cheaper.

Thanks,

Mike

i have seen them in almost every grocery store myself but like you said its like 10 or 15 $ for the deposit on the jug . what would you be using these for ? transporting water ? my neighbor had water delevery service i think if he keeps the jugs there only like 5 or 6 bucks i could find out though.
if transporting water how about a 5 gallon new gas can ?

You might try Office Depot / Staples - I think I've seen them in there before.

Not what you're asking but some other water containers I've found:
* the LFS's charge 7$ for the square ones with the two screw on lids
* Lowe's buckets with lids - $5
* Walmart has some interesting ones in the camping dept.. 7 gal I think.
* Like MrFerrit said - unused gas jugs

Out of all of those I prefer the buckets for water storage. They stack well and when they're empty they stack inside others.

Thanks for posting that! I need several and that's exactly what I'm looking for! That one box upside down says "camper"? Is that the section these guys are in?
