They are going out of business. I guess the Petco that just moved in didn't help. They really don't much saltwater stuff but they have some food left. Not sure when they are closing their doors for good but it looked a litte empty.

Hmm, that is sad that a small mom-and-pop store is closing down.
It sucks, because you could still get SW food that Petco doesn't carry.
I will have to stop on by, to see what is going on.
He may not have been good with the whole SW thing, but he still had a good selection for FW.

Yes, I'll need to stop in as well. I'm half way done with my flat of Mysis Shrimp, and I don't want to drive 65+ miles to either Tulsa or OKC just for Mysis.

Did he have any of his tanks for sale?
I was hoping to pick up a 20/30 gal that I can convert into a sump.

I only saw two tanks with price tags. The 55 gallon he had as the LR tank and the large tank that somebody brought in. I didn't ask about his overs but by the looks of it I think everything in the store is for sale.

Im not a Petco fan- they seem to do bad things across the board. My dog was attacked by a pitt at their groomers recently. :(

Big box stores & the internet claim another victim.
At least you got to save some money.

Well to be quite honest Aquamart never did anything really helpful in the way of saltwater for me, if I ever needed anything saltwater wise I would normally go to edmond just out of preference. I have no problem driving an 45min to go to a store that is great.

It is sad when the small stores fall victum to big chains but its the way of things, unless the small store excells in something they will fall to the chains.
Leighanns shop will probably weather any storm because it is so good.
