I see the 3200 has a 2in. input & output. My question is if i reduced the input to 1.5in and on the output used a 1.5 to 3/4 manifold would this be ok. Iam only running the 3/4 to a wavysea & the chiller. But of course i will have a ball valve on both.

Its NEVER a good idea to reduce the intake. It can reduce the life of the pump and can cause cavitation. Reducing the output is ok but it will cut the flow way down. I'd guess and say reducing to 3\4" will cut the flow in half, at best.

How about using an Amp Master 3000? I have an old one with brand new seals if you'd like to trade.

golfish is right.

Will you only have 1 output to the tank (via the sea swirl)? If you're set on using this pump, you might be able to get away w/ 2 outputs, put ball valves on them to throttle back if necessary.

What's your goal w/ the return (output)?

Hello Golfish,Charles, I have not got this pump yet. i was going to buy it off of a RC member. I was just thinking that i need a new pump for my 1/3 chiller because i have a Mag 5 running just my chiller & thats not enough flow. I have a lifereef over flow box rated @ 700 ghp & running a panworld 50px-x for return. I was thinking about buying a Eheim 1262 for the chiller but though why dont i get a pump able to handle both the chiller & wavysea & remove both pumps from the system. Just checking my options. Thanks guys for any input......
