I have these little things growing on my liverock that look like alongated cottonballs. I can't get a decent picture of one to show but just imagine a cottonball that is being pulled on both sides. They are about half the size of a pea.
They don't seem to multiply fast but I also can't get rid of them.
Any help would be great!
Thanks

Are they white? A type of sponge perhaps? Can you get a pic?

Yes, they are white. I tried getting a pic but trust me, it wouldn't help. When I pull them off, sometimes they easily break in half. Othertimes, the whole thing comes off.
Maybe those pineapple filterfeeders? Someone help me here....I forget the name. I have a ton of them. If that's what they are they are harmless.
I'll see if I can dig up a picture.

That is it!! I am glad they are harmless. Thanks guys so much, I appreciate it :-)
kraftyoru- That's exactly what I was talking about. What the heck are some common names for them. Something like pineapple sponge or something. They actually have a few common names and none of them are coming to me.

I saw these in my newly set up tank too. Glad to hear they are harmless.
