What bulbs and spectrum seem to promote the best SPS growth?

They are bright, with a yellowish tint. You could go 10K to reduce the yellowish tint as most 10K are white. They are quite bright and you need to acclimate your livestock to them appropriately.

yellow, i will just say [violation] color, brown tints to sps with color tips, crazy growth assuming other H2O params are good and stable, if u supplement with alot of actintic t-5 or vho u will enjoy the look alot better, its all ion the eye of the beholder, i like a tint of blue so i go with 14k and 20k bulbs and still get average-decent growth compared to others and i get to look at colorful corals. if i was just starting a tank i would run a 65ook iwasaki for the first year then change to a "color" bulb after my stuff was big jah know what im sayiin mon! j/k with the jamaican mon take care
