I know others have had issues getting the Copperband to eat...and I do feel lucky, as my fish love to eat right out of my hand. I noticed this when as they would always come up to the food right when it hit the tank...
The copperband in this video I've had for about 3 years now. It's been a fantastic fish with a great personality...not the greatest of video, but feel free to enjoy.

Here are some other pics of my creatures eating over the years.
If you have some other good ones, feel free to add. :)

Ive always wanted a copper banded, but i was always afraid that it would eat my corals. You don't turn your pumps off when you feed?.

Ditto. I've never had the nerve to invest in one. Has anyone had a reefsafe CB?

He doesn't nip at any of my corals, but my tank is primarly LPS.
When I had a few rocks with aptasia...he wouldn't eat that either. I ended up using hot water to get rid of it.

Nope, I let them run around and eat the food. Very little actually hit the overflows...

What do you figure the smallest tank size a CBB could thrive in?

I had mine in a 90 gallon for 2 years before moving it to my 220. He seemed fine in it...

Cool, I've got a 90. Did you employ any special tricks to teach it to eat frozen brine shrimp? I'm assuming that is the cube you are holding.

To start this, I used a baby syringe that I put the cube in. I was able to slowly add the brine so it would drop one shrimp at a time. Eventually, the CBB came to the dropper to get the food...
From there, he would eat anything out of my hand. Mysis, Formula I (whichever the red cubes are), Brine, emerald entree, squid, krill, whatever...

Your video makes me want a copperband even that much more. I hope to successfully keep one in my 90g some day.
