Hey

I built a 12" tall canopy for my 29 gallon 30x12x18 tank and was wondering if a height like that is too much for a tank like mine. Some people who have seen it have told me to cut it down a bit. What are your opinions?

Here are a few pics

Looks good to me too....the only problem that I could think of is if you plan on having any lighting that requires to be so many inches above the water......other than that, looks good! : )

Thats not a problem at all. Its very easy to mount the lighting where you want it.

Too high in my honest opinion. As long as you like it, you'll be fine. Good luck getting started by the way! :)

Height is fine. Will look perfect when stained.
