well, i took the plunge today and got a tunze 6060. i knew these were worth the money but i didnt know they were this sweet. i replaced 2 seio 820s with this pump and its damn near blowing the water out of my tank. not a bad deal for 75 bucks. it came with the 6200.0 magnet holder that left a nice redmark on my index finger :) the only thing that sucks is i cant control the 6060. whats the smallest p/h they have that can pulse? in all honesty i dont need anymore flow i just want to mix it up a little more. tia <~~~steve

Sweet!

The 6055 nanostream is controllable, as are the 6000, 6100 and 6200. They are getting ready to release the 6101 that is a replacement for both the 6000 and 6100, but it will cost the same as the 6100. IMO, the nanostream is new and will be working through kinks for a while. The current 6000 is upgradable to a 6100 just by swapping out the transformer, and so going with a 6000 would mean you can always upgrade your flow should you need to. Before I got my Tunze on a multicontroller, I had one no a singlecontroller. It was awesome and is what made me decide to make the plunge for getting two. Gary now has my 6000 w/ single controller, so you can ask him how he likes it in his tank.

maybe a small nanostream on a controller would be my best bet....... i mean this pump is only 1500 gph but i literally have a 3/4 to 1" wave rippling the surface and sloshing all around. the pump is halfway down in the tank. im scared even a 6000 would push the water above the plastic trim. i wish tunze made a 600gph controllable "baby stream" :) <~~~steve
