I really want to sell locally...as shipping is expensive and I do not have a box big enough right now...
I am selling my tek 8 lamp fixture. It has only been used for about 3 months and I will include the lamps that are in it and my extra bulbs that I purchased 12 extra bulbs, all the bulbs are UV URI.

Retail value for all of this is 725.00 bucks without shipping. ( I did not factor in the 8 bulbs that have been used, i only added 8 bucks each for those, but they only have 3 months on them, so they have lots of life left)

Since some people are interested in just the bulbs and possibly the fixture...I will sell them seperately...

2 GE Daylight (6,500k), awesome for growth

I have gotten very good growth with this set up and great color.


T-5 54w bulbs -$17 each and I will split the shipping cost with you>>> retail 22 bucks not shipped.

OK LMK if you reconsider shipping the unit (ie havent/dont sell it locally)....Fedex Kinkos will box and ship just about anything for you, all you do is drop off the item and they take care of the rest.
I have been looking for a used one of these for a while....

Fed ex kinkos does not have boxes this big...But I am working on one to ship this... So shipping will be an option, if you are interested let me know...I would guess shipping would be 50 bucks...so it would 425 bucks for this...so this saves you 140 bucks in bulbs (for all these bulbs it would be 176.00 with out shipping, since they are slightly used I take some off the top)... Let me know if you are interested...

Reefgeek, I've got a box I could probably ship you...lol. Oh wait, it wouldn't work...it's for the 6 bulb unit. BTW, thanks for all the helpful info you gave me awhile back about the T5. I love it!! Might have to talk to you about bulbs soon. I know I won't have to replace mine for quite some time, but you've got a good price...lol.

I will do that...and here's a bump for Reefgeek. He's a great reefer and very helpful. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase from him and the price he's asking for the lighting system is MORE than fair!! Oh, and it's the best T5 lighting system out there.

Dimensions- 47"x20"x2.5" ... 575.00 shipped with all the bulbs and the fixture.

I might be wrong, but isn't that a plant grow light fixture? The endcaps don't appear to be of the aquarium (waterproof) variety.

No it is the aquarium fixture...They do sell end caps that are not water resistant, Trust me I know what I am selling...this is the fixture, that all on-line vendors carry. Also, there are very few fixtures that have water resistant end caps on them, due to the end caps size... Please if you want to question what I am selling, PM me, this is not the place for it.

The endcaps on the fixture are correct for T-5, because the fixture needs or already has a plastic cover, therefore the endcaps are different than the one you see on the reflector. Most of the T-5 reflector comes with waterproof endcaps. But the T-5 fixture comes with normal endcaps.

Thank you... Also as a side note... you would have to be splashing water like crazy for you to soak the end caps and cause problems...
