I have a 75 gal that I'll soon be drilling for a closed loop. I'd like to use this spa drain fitting for the intake (http://discountspaparts.com/asccustompages/products.asp?cartID=&affID=&categoryid=291&navParent=0) (last one at the bottom of the page). It calls for a 3 and 1/2 inch hole. Without getting out of my chair and measuring, I believe the glass is 1/2" thick.

The only other holes I'll be drilling in the tank are three one inch outlets fed by a coast-to-coast style Calfo overflow.

Any thoughts?

Thanks,

Scott
