how do you get it and how do you get rid of it?

Usually comes in with the rock and I think most people have it. I've never found it much of a problem - I just try to pick them off the rock without busting them when they get annoying.

Well,
In small doses, so to speak.
I find it somewhat decorative, in smaller amounts. The silvery green bubbles look sort of extraterrestrial in nature, but when it covers all of your rock I suppose you want it to just "Phone Home" and be gone :). But, it all depends on one's tastes, i suppose. Exporting nutrients with some other form of desirable macroalgae may slow it down as ensuring you're using water from RO or DI, but even that doesn't always help. There are suppose to be critters that consume these algae (Emerald Crabs), but they have mixed results.
