Well I just got my SeaCurrent wavemaker. Here is my plate flowing in the "wind". I need to get another MJ1200, the Penguins just don't do a good job and are noisy. Sorry about the noise, daughter was playing. Turn speakers down.

Just curious. Does the Seacurrent turn the power heads all the way off or just limit the voltage? Do they cause power up noise from the Seios and MJ?

How does it compare to the SCWD - Switching Current Water Direct?

It does shut them all the way off, as I have 2 Penguin PH and a MJ1200 PH, the Penguins are noisy at start-up the MJ is quite. Not sure about the SCWD as I didn't go with it. The SeaCurrent has the ability to have 4 PH's connected to it.There are 2 modes, 2 circuit and 4 circuit. 2 Circuit - 2 PH are on at a time 4- Circuit one PH turns on at a time. You can have 3 different modes also for the PH's - Timer ( 2 min - 15min); Chase(5 sec - 30 sec), noise ( they change when a loud noise is made). So far I like it but going to change the one Penguin out and get more MJ's.
