He will not like those clowns. They will pester himm and prevent him from opening up.

Yes, anemones are the only corals that host clownfish in the wild. Clowns will often chose anemone like corals in a tank and host in them. The corals they chose are not adapted to this and can be aggitated to the point of death.

I personally would get rid of the clowns. They can also kill many euphylia lps.

I agree, Helio's have a hard enought time in captivity w/out some stupid clowns pestering it :rolleyes:
Get rid of the clowns or the Helio, they are not compatable.
dvmsn is right, clowns will DESTROY most LPS!

good news! i got an angel fish a few days ago ... and now that the angel is in there the clowns dont hang out around the LPS anymore... which is good news!!! they stay around the rock work on the top of the tank....

Keep an eye on it also, they are know coral nippers...

yeah i heard! thanks ! i have been watching it and it only nips at my algae!! which i am thankful for.... it doesnt pay any mind the to the LPS .. and now... neither do my clowns! YAY!!

they will be back..........and I'd give that angel up to a month to start to nip. I had a coral beauty that I wanted to put in my reef soo bad, kept it in a 38 gal. for a year w/ some less favorite lps, he did 'nt bother them. When i moved i put him in the big tank, within a couple months he was a nipper.
