Any problem with mounting DJ strip inside stand?

I know it is really humid inside my stand, so I was wondering if that would cause any problems with the DJ strip. I'd like to mount it underneath, hanging from the top, so that when you open the doors the strip is right there.

I have had mine under the stand for several months and I haven't had any problems.

6speed..i have 2 i just put in my new stand im kind of curious as well...i dont think reefers have been using them long enough (maybe 1.5-2 years) to make long term judgements....

I had one under each of my 120G tanks. One of them rusted really bad and I took it out a few months back. It was maybe under there for 2 years. The other one is going good and doesn't seem to be rusting like the previous one. Better quality maybe? They were different manufacturers.

Just ensure you have proper venting (e.g. an open back) and a small fan in the stand and it'll be fine.
