Time to trim the forest of Xenia

how many polyps per stalk?

Hmmm..... it all depends. I would say 15-30 per head. Some more some less. That is not counting the smaller polyps growing. Much of them have more than one full head on each stalk. I am trying to trim towards the center and the ones being trimmed first have the most polyps. For me it seems that every they are growing like weeds. Even though they are my favorite, they just spread way too much and way too fast.

Xenia are hit and miss with some people - I've had Xenia for about 6 years and they seem to grow like mad in my tank but when I talk to others they can't seem to keep them too long. Stuff I get from other hobbyists tend to be hardier.
