i got this new pair of juenile clowns about a week ago, and yesterday i noticed that one had developed two white spots under its eye. they look like swollen white pimples. i dont think its ich. will a fresh water dip help it out or i seen garlic and nori. if i use a dip how long should it be in the freshwater and what kind of freshwater parameters should i use.

Hi skunk,

Is there any way you can take a picture?

It's easier to treat/rec treatments if the disease is known. There is lots of info on ick and clown fish related disease but in order to suggest a treatment such as FW dipping, it's better to know what your trying to treat.

Sounds good.

I have heard both ways about FW dips, some people use them others do not.

I think it can be stressful and if not necessary then I would not rec it.

a pic would be perfect. =)

the white spot disappeared so i guess it was stress.
