I would say go bigger... why?! I started this hobby a year ago. I started with a 7 galllon bowfront. that lasted 2 months, then went to a 26 gallon bowfront. that lasted 3 months. then went with a 40 gallon. that didnt last but about 5 weeks then I bought a 75, now I want the 156 they dont make anymore lol. I cant tell you how much I could have saved by just going to a 120 from the 7. Dont be scared its SOOOO much easier to keep the water stable in a bigger tank. If you have the $$ freedom then go BIG. I wasted over a 1,000 in less than a year on going bigger. Please dont make the same mistake!

Hey I know what you mean. I am currently working on a 120g. I have yet to complete the set up (need about another 2 weeks)and I am already looking at the possibility of either a 180 or 240 from here to about 6-8 months. (if everything goes as planned)

haha I know how you feel. I have a 10g that's been up for almost a month, but I have a empty 90g sitting in the corner of the same room staring me down every time I go in there. I want to set it up so bad but I'm a resisting the temptation for right now. ;)
